Kaleb's 7th Birthday (April 27th) at Oaks Amusement Park

We enjoyed ourselves. Kaleb went on the rides and didn't get sick at all. Korbin and Cassandra had a blast with Kaleb. I took all the pictures because I don't do rides. I get motion sickness.

Our cocoon hatched!

My foster boys found a caterpillar around the end of February, beginning of March, and we put it in a jar with twigs. We forgot all about it and the next thing we knew it wrapped itself in a cocoon. We waited and waited. Then last week we checked the jar and here was a beautiful orange moth. It laid eggs, too! My daughter and my foster boys went outside to let it go. They waited, but the moth wouldn't leave. They came inside to tell me that it won't leave it's eggs. I went out there to see and she was gone. I think she wanted to wait to be alone before she flew away. We are keeping the eggs and hope to expect a bunch of baby caterpillars soon. We will let them go as well. Enjoy!

My Daughter's High Tea Birthday Party!

For my daughter's 15th birthday we went to The Brit's for High Tea. She invited 4 of her girlfriends (only 3 were able to go) and they had a great time. We dressed up and had lots of girl talk. Her response afterward was, "I feel grown up." I don't know if she was too excited for that new feeling.

Hope 2 Others Ministry!

There is an awesome ministry called H20 (Hope 2 Others). 2 young ladies started it 3 years ago at Portland, Oregon. They make bags with non perishable foods\items, gospel tracts, etc. Whenever they see homeless people on the street, they pop out one of these bags and give it to them. You can do the same!
